ScreenPixl
Cookies and local storage
The technologies actually used on the ScreenPixl website and sign-in portal.
1. Public website
Essential functions do not grant analytics consent. Google Analytics 4 loads only after explicit consent; before consent and after rejection we send no cookieless measurement pings either. A visit does not create a login session. Fonts and images are self-hosted. The contact form uses a short-lived security token in page memory.
| Name and type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| screenpixl.consent.v2 · localStorage | Stores only your explicit analytics choice, version and time. An old notice dismissal (screenpixl.privacy.v1) is not analytics consent. | 180 days; after expiry we ask again. The record is removed on the next check or visit. |
| screenpixl_language · cookie | Remembers the language only after your manual selection. Contains no visitor identifier; automatic selection uses browser language and does not create a cookie. | 365 days from manual selection; scoped to the website host. |
| _ga | Google Analytics: distinguishes visitors, only with consent. | At most 180 days; no renewal on each visit. |
| _ga_4SRBGYHZPQ | Google Analytics: session state, only with consent. | At most 180 days; removed on withdrawal. |
2. Sign-in portal
The app subdomain uses these first-party cookies. The public website does not read them. Essential cookies support requested sign-in and security; persistent sign-in and display preferences follow your choices.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| screenlumo-session | Portal login session; legacy technical name preserved during rebranding. | 120 minutes, renewed with use. |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Portal form protection against forged requests. | 120 minutes, renewed with use. |
| remember_web_* | Persistent sign-in, only if you choose “Remember me”. | Up to 400 days; may renew with use. Sign-out invalidates access. |
| appearance · cookie | Selected light, dark or system appearance. | 365 days from changing the setting. |
| appearance · localStorage | The same choice for immediate theme display. | Until manual deletion; a new choice overwrites it. |
| sidebar_state | Your expanded or collapsed sidebar preference. | 7 days from changing it. |
3. Your choices
The cookie icon in the lower left opens your choices. “Essential only” rejects analytics; “Allow analytics” enables it. Change your choice at any time in settings. Untick analytics and save, or choose “Essential only”, to withdraw and remove its cookies. Rejection or withdrawal does not restrict use of the site. If the browser cannot save the choice, analytics remains off on this page and we show an explanation.
Browser settings also let you delete cookies and site data. This may sign you out or remove saved appearance settings. Use portal sign-out to end persistent sign-in. Closing this notice does not erase your login or account data.
